Gingered Carrots

1 lb carrots, peeled ¼ c water ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated ½ tsp sugar ½ tsp mei yen seasoning 2 Tbsp butter |
Cut carrots into julienne strips. Simmer carrots, water, ginger, and mei yen over low heat, until just tender. Drain water, add butter and sugar, heat through. |
