Mashed Potatoes

4 pounds Idaho potatoes, washed, scrubbed, cut into chunks

6 Tbsp butter

½ c milk

½ c buttermilk

salt and pepper, to taste

Place potatoes chunks in pot and cover with water, bring to boil. Boil until potatoes begin to fall apart, drain immediately. Return potatoes to pot, add butter and mix thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients, mash with a hand masher just until consistancy you want. Adjust seasoning to taste.
