Peach Cobbler

2 c peaches, sliced ½ c sugar 1/3 c butter 1 c sugar 1 tsp baking powder ¾ c flour ¾ c milk |
Mix peaches with ½ c sugar and let stand. Melt butter in 2 qt.
casserole. Combine 1 c sugar, baking powder, flour,
and milk, blend. Pour batter into butter, but do not stir. Put peaches
on top. Do not stir. Bake 45 min at 350°. |
