Stuffed Mushrooms

1 med onion, finely chopped

1 lb large mushrooms

¼ c butter

2¼ c soft bread crumbs

1 Tbsp catsup

salt and pepper

1 Tbsp lemon juice

½ c cream, or milk

strips of bacon

Wash mushrooms, dry well. Remove stems and chop. Melt butter, sauté onions and stems. Stir in bread crumbs and cook 2 minutes. Add catsup and lemon juice.  Season to taste. Stuff caps with mixture. Garnish with bacon strips. Place in glass dish. Pour cream around caps. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
